Wayne Colquhoun

December 18, 1954 to March 26, 2010

Wayne Colquhoun passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday March 26, 2010. He resided in Listowel and was born 55 years ago in Stratford, a son of Marion (Boyd) Colquhoun of Stratford and the late Fred Colquhoun. Wayne was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 259 Listowel. Beloved husband of Marion (Broughton) Colquhoun whom he married in 1986. Loving father of Vicki Scheeringa and Barry McIntosh of Listowel, Kevin Leis and Annette Morrison of Elora and Gary Leis of Kitchener. Special grandpa of Melissa, Amanda, Andrew, Kris, Nolan, Justin, Ryan, Danielle and great-grandpa of Kaylee and Noah. Dear brother of Barry and Ann Marie of Stratford and Wendy Bye and Randy Lee of Thamesford. Son-in-law of Cora Broughton of Monkton and brother-in-law of Sharon Pengally and friend Ted Williams of Goderich, Betty Lou and Ross Rennick of Monkton, Brenda and Bill Burkholder of Blyth. Fondly remembered by his special niece Sherri and her husband Matt McGill and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his father-in-law George Broughton, brothers-in-law Bob Broughton and Don Pengally. In keeping with Wayne's wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Wednesday March 31, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A private family memorial service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 1 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
