Wayne

January 11, 1948 to March 15, 2008

Wayne passed away peacefully at his residence in Listowel on Saturday March 15, 2008. He was born 60 years ago in Stratford, a son of the late Franklin and Elsie (Demmerling) Bowman. Wayne was a member of Calvary United Church, Listowel. He was well known in the community as an antique dealer. Wayne was the beloved husband of Gloria (Jacklin) Bowman whom he married in 1973; the loving father of Charlotte Bowman of Toronto and Virginia Bowman of London and the dear brother of Graham Bowman of Kurtzville. Also remembered by his mother-in-law Doris Jacklin, brothers-in-law Barry Jacklin and Keith Jacklin all of R.R.#2 Bluevale and by his nieces & nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his sister Susan Fisher, father-in-law Archie Jacklin and sister-in-law Ruth Farrish. As per Wayne's wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a grave side service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel in the spring.
