Stephanie McCracken – passed away peacefully after a tough battle with cancer, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday October 20, 2019 at the age of 41. Steph was an adored teacher and colleague with the Avon Maitland District School Board. Steph was a special, one of a kind woman. Steph lived her life for her family, especially Blake and Evan who were the center of her universe. She was the kind of person who could light up a room and bring people together. Among her friends and family, she was the fun loving, last to leave, life of the party. Beloved wife of Steve Smith whom she married in 2001. Loving mother of Blake and Evan. Cherished daughter of Randy and Rhonda McCracken. Dear sister of Nigel (Becky) and Megan. Daughter-in-law of David Smith and sister-in-law of Christa (Tim) Beyer. Special aunt of Cheyenne, Rhyse, Zander, Graycen, Harrison, Kailey, Sophie and Lily. Fondly remembered by her grandmother Agnes Diehl, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her mother-in-law Barbara Smith.
