Shally Ernest – of Monkton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday May 5, 2016 at the age of 57. Lifelong partner of Dennis Sanders. Loving mother of Katie Ernest, Jason Ernest, John & Ivy Ernest, Lisa Ernest. Special grandma of Angel, Richard, Hayley, Ryan, Riley, Lita, Chelsea and Tekyra. Dear sister and sister-in-law of John and Margaret Darroch, Donna Rudow, Donelda and John Herrfort, Barbara and Robert Mitchell, Alvin Darroch, Raymond and Connie Darroch, Sheila and Albert Subject, Cathy and David Smith, Bonnie and Fred Wocks, Roxanne and Greg Bowman, Phyllis and Ted Smith, Diane Darroch, and Douglas Gowing. Fondly remembered by Ann and Al McKenzie, John and Laura Ernest and their daughter Ruby, Wayne and Bonnie Ernest, Chris Ernest, Sharon and Larry Searth, Dave and Dianna Ernest, Daniel Ernest, special friends Denise and Shawn and many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Predeceased by her parents John and Norma (Fischer) Darroch, brother Gordon Darroch, sisters Shirley Darroch, Eleanora Larson, Lynda Gowing, brother-in-law Ron Rudow, father and mother-in-law Lloyd and Shirley Ernest. At Shally’s request, cremation has taken place.
