Ruth Lynch

December 3, 1928 to May 6, 2020

Ruth Lynch – of Listowel, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday May 6, 2020 at the age of 91. Ruth loved animals especially raising rabbits. She enjoyed making “crazy” quilts, crocheting and spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Bill Lynch who predeceased her in 1996. Loving mother of Morris (Kathy) Ireland, Susan (Wayne) Carter, Rosemary (Tex) Donohue, Richard (Bev) Lynch. Special grandma of William, Ruth (Cheryl), Julie (Mike), Tammy (Rick), Lisa, Amanda (Joey), Serena (Mike). Great grandma of Brian, Keith, John, Jessie (Tyler), Emma, Brayden, Tamarra (Brandon), Hunter, Maryjane, Adam (Anna) and great-great grandma of Eko, Derrick and Zoey. Sister of Edith Greve. Greatly missed by nephews Glen and Willie Gill, several nieces and nephews and Jeff Seili. Predeceased by her parents Lewis and Hermina (Engel) Riach, brothers Lloyd, Lewis, John, Jim, sisters Ella (Ivan) Gill, Ruby (Jim) Gill, Louisa (Ross) Gill, brother-in-law Clarence Greve, sister-in-law Darlene Riach, daughter-in-law Marie Ireland, step-son Ronald Hussey and great-grandson Owen Befurt. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood at a later date.
