Ruby Hoover

February 23, 1932 to April 25, 2015

Ruby Hoover of Brussels, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 25, 2015 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Russell Hoover whom she married in 1955. Loving mother of Terry and Diane of RR1 Atwood and Bob and Sandy of RR2 Atwood. Special grandma of Samuel, Victoria and Krista. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Percy and Minnie (Houck) Puterbaugh, her sisters Irene and her husband Wilfred Bowes, and Marion Warren. In keeping with Ruby's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of one's choice appreciated by the family. Thank you to the doctors, specialists, CCAC Care Partners and the nurses in palliative care at Listowel Memorial Hospital.
