Richard Metzloff

June 1, 1962 to August 11, 2012

Richard Metzloff, of Toronto, passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Saturday August 11, 2012 at the age of 50. Richard was an avid supporter of the Toronto Fire Fighters Muscular Dystrophy boot drive and an advocate for service dog acceptance and transit accessibility. He enjoyed photography, cottage time with his family and spending time with his loyal companion and service dog Piper. Dear son of Harry Metzloff of Belwood. Loving brother of Tim and Deanne of Atwood and Dave Metzloff and Terry Popowich of Garson. Uncle of Robert, Darryl and Jennifer, Kevin and Melinda, Philip, Alison, Heather and great uncle of Connor, Blake, Desireh and Mikel. Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has taken place. Richard's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. John Hogerwaard officiating.
