Richard (Dick) Adair

August 26, 1934 to October 4, 2016

Richard (Dick) Adair – passed away peacefully at his residence in Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Tuesday October 4, 2016 at the age of 82. Dick enjoyed snowmobiling, bowling, the old white ‘63 Ford and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of the late Maxine (Baillie) Adair who predeceased him on April 19, 2016. Loving father of Lauretta and Chris Raven, Linda Chrissley, Don and Patti Adair. Special grandpa of Mark and Nicky, Kristy and Julian, Emily and friend Kyle, Mike and friend Leona, Jen and great-grandpa of Liam, Casey, Riley and Reese. Brother of Lloyd, Sharon and John Wright, Mary Ellen Gerber and John. Fondly remembered by the extended Adair and Baillie families. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Olive (Pride) Adair, brothers Glenn and Ricky, sisters Doris Ingram, Marlene (in infancy), Gail and husband Robert Osborn and sister-in-law Barb Adair. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Friday October 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate Dick’s life will be held on Saturday October 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. George Russell officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
