The funeral service for Raymond Rock scheduled for today at 2nd St. John's Lutheran Church, Wartburg at 3 p.m. has been postponed until Thursday November 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. Raymond Rock of Listowel, formerly of RR2 Atwood, passed away unexpectedly at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday November 14, 2014 in his 77th year. Raymond was a member of 2nd St. John's Lutheran Church, Wartburg and a life member of the Atwood Lion's Club where he willing served his community for 48 years. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking in his spare time. Beloved husband of Marg (Dietze) Rock whom he married in 1961. Loving father of Matthew and Angie Rock, and Cheryl and Allan Krotz. Special grandpa of Rochelle Rock, Jasmine Rock, Nolan Krotz and Michelle, Jenna and Steve Morris and their daughter Olivia, and Kelby Krotz and Brett. Brother and brother-in-law of Barbara Rock, Mark H. and Kathy Rock, Joel and Marilyn Rock. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents John and Myrn (Diehl) Rock and his brothers Donald and John. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Monday November 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Lions Service at 8:45 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Raymond's life will be held at 2nd St. John's Lutheran Church, Wartburg on Thursday November 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor William Kramer officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
