Pieternel Sinke

January 25, 1910 to April 2, 2009

Pieternel passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday April 2, 2009. She resided at RR #2 Atwood and was born 99 years ago in The Netherlands, a daughter of the late Adriaan and Adriana (DeRuiter) Beenhakker. Pieternel was the beloved wife of the late Jacobus Sinke who predeceased her in 1979 and the loving mother of Jan (John) Sinke of RR #2 Atwood and Adriaan Sinke of RR #1 Monkton. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Corrie Sinke, two sisters and one brother. As per Pieternel's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood at a later date.
