Barry Wagner

January 28, 1942 to October 25, 2022

Passed away suddenly at home on October 25, 2022 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Barb Chapman Ward. Cherished step father of James Ward and Lesley (Mike) Hoskin. Loving grandfather to Paige and Luke Albrecht. Survived by his nieces Tara, Pamela, Tina, Lisa, nephew Peter, his brother Hugh (Jane) Wagner and sister-in-law Pat Brant. Predeceased by his parent Harold and Olive Wagner, his brother Dwight Wagner, his sister-in-law Mary Ellen and step mother Elsie. Fondly remembered by extended Buchanan and Dewar families. Born in London Ontario he would move to Atwood where he would stay the rest of his 80 years. He worked for Ideal supply in Listowel. Barry enjoyed baseball, hockey, broomball and curling in his younger years. As per Barry’s wishes, cremation will take place and burial of his cremated remains will be in Brussels Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John St in Atwood. Donations may be made to the Atwood Lions Club or the Humane Society of Stratford.
