Maudie Hamilton

October 22, 1912 to January 11, 2010

Maudie Hamilton of Toronto, formerly of Listowel, passed away peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital on Monday January 11, 2010 at the age of 97. She was born in Listowel, a daughter of the late Henry and Martha (Ash) Thedorff. Beloved wife of the late Bill Hamilton who predeceased her in 2001. Loving mother of Bill and Carlyne Hamilton of Scarborough. Special grandma of Dan and Barbara and their son Scott of Scarborough, Jamie and Heather and their daughter Madelyn of Brooklin, and Lindsay Hamilton and fiance Mo. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her son Jim and his wife Mary. Maudie was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her brothers and sisters Charlie, Sayde, Minnie, Christopher, Ellie and Roy. Maudie's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Wednesday January 13, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday January 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michelle Owens officiating. Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
