Mary Graham

October 29, 1929 to May 7, 2014

Mary Graham of Walkerton, formerly of Monkton, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at the age of 84. Mary was the owner/operator of Mary's Truck Stop in Monkton for many years. She volunteered at the Right to Life Second Hand Rose store in Walkerton and loved to attend the senior dances at the local legions. Beloved wife of the late Murray Graham who predeceased her in 1985. Loving mother of Carole and Mike Plunkett, Lee Pridham and Paul Hansford, Diann and Rick Davidson, Marie Graham and Pat Dwyer. Special grandma of Stephen and Christine, Tina and Buttch, Cindy and Dale, Angie, Sally and Rob, Adam and Lisa and great-grandma of Devin, Natalie, Max and Kane. Dear sister of Fred, John, Jean, Olga and Florence. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Patsy (Tym) Saiko, her daughter Joan in infancy, son-in-law Doug Smith, brothers Mike, Peter, Eddie, sisters Ann, Alice, Elizabeth and special friends Ed Wadell and Charlie Collins. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Friday May 9 from 3 - 8 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at Monkton Presbyterian Church on Saturday May 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sarah Thompson officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
