Lea Martin

March 1, 1946 to May 31, 2016

Lea Martin of RR # 4 Listowel, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 31, 2016 at Listowel Memorial Hospital, in her 71st year. Lovingly remembered by her husband Jim of 49 years and her children Anita of Kitchener, Tony and April of Atwood and Steve and Jennifer of Barrie. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Chris, Jeremy, Maci and Jasper. Lea is survived by her sister-in-law Faye Peelar of Barrie, her mother Alice Visser of Fairview, Alberta, three sisters, four brothers and their spouses, all of Alberta. Lea is predeceased by her in-laws Austin and Eva Martin, her father, Len Visser, brothers-in-law Don and Gord, sisters-in-law Anne and Leona. At Lea’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow at a later date. Interment at Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
