Kenneth Stewart MacDonald

August 6, 1921 to May 2, 2010

Kenneth Stewart MacDonald passed away peacefully at his residence in Forwich Village Nursing Home on Sunday May 2, 2010 in his 89th year. Survived by his sister Mary MacDonald of Livingstone Manor Retirement Home, Listowel and his sister-in-law Faye MacDonald of Goderich. Remembered by his niece Margaret McInroy (nee Shortreed) and her husband Rick, his niece Julie Hymers (nee MacDonald) and her husband David, his nephew Peter MacDonald and his wife Jennifer and his nephew Bill's wife Valerie Shortreed. Predeceased by his first wife Doris Cunningham, his second wife Margaret Rogister, his parents Martin and Margaret (McNabb) MacDonald, his sister Muriel Shortreed, his brother Graeme MacDonald and his nephew Bill Shortreed. In keeping with Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood, on Saturday May 8, 2010 from 1-4 p.m. A family committal service will take place in Cranbrook Cemetery.
