Kenneth Hurst

February 20, 1926 to July 26, 2012

Kenneth Hurst, of Atwood, passed away unexpectedly at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday July 26, 2012 at the age of 86. Ken was a faithful member of St. Alban's and St. David's Anglican Church, Atwood. Dear brother of Anne and Jim Cooper of RR3 Brussels. Missed by his nieces and nephew Margaret Anne Buchanan, Marilyn Mitchell, Robert Leslie, Jean Hurst and cousins Lloyd and Glen Hurst. Fondly remembered by Audrey Wilson. Predeceased by his parents William and Minnie (Barron) Hurst, his sister Alma and her husband Bob Leslie, brother Ross and his wife Ruby Hurst and brother William David in infancy. Ken's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Sunday July 29 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday July 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Laura Lightfoot officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
