John Orr formerly of RR1 Atwood, passed away surrounded by his family, at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Friday November 21, 2014 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Orr who predeceased him on December 1, 2013. Loving father of Sharon (Frazer) Diehl of Milverton, Karon (Brian) McIlroy of Gowanstown, Keith (Nora) Orr of Fordwich. Special grandpa of Charmaine (Larry) Kestle of Sebringville, Crystal (Kyle) Wagner of Milverton, Trevor (Karen) McIlroy of Kitchener, Tim McIlroy of Wellesley, McKinley and McLean Orr of Fordwich and step grandpa of Jim (Michelle) McLean of Listowel. Great-grandpa to Emma, Lacey, Kolton and Carter. Step great-grandpa to Zach, Jenna, Nicholas and Tyson. Fondly remembered by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Isabelle and Harvey Willoughby of Stratford. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Laura (Casemore) Orr and step father Cameron Inglis. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Sunday November 23, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate John's life will be held at Atwood Presbyterian Church on Monday November 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Thompson officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
