On March 29th, surrounded by his loving family, Jim Beach was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, after complications following a heart attack. His loss leaves a deep void, and he will be forever loved, remembered, and missed by all who knew him.
Jim was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Whether it was listening to music, or spending time researching his passions on YouTube including fishing, cars or photography—Jim always embraced the things that brought him happiness. He also had an appreciation for the finer things in life, enjoying a good home-cooked meal, a new dessert, or an excellent glass of scotch.
As a devoted sports fan, Jim cherished the moments spent watching games with his son, son-in-laws, and grandson. He was an avid weekend warrior, often taking motorcycle trips with his wife and friends. He also treasured his quiet moments, particularly when he could enjoy solo fishing trips.
One of Jim’s happiest places was at a cottage, surrounded by family and friends, where countless memories were made. His laid-back personality and warm presence brought joy to everyone around him, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jim held his wife, Angie, in his heart with deep and unwavering love. Their marriage was built on patience, dedication, and a constant support for one another. Together, they created a life filled with treasured memories, laughter, and unconditional love. Above all, their family was their greatest joy, and the love they shared formed the solid foundation upon which it was built.
Jim’s love extended to his children - Josh (Livv) Beach, Karrie Beach (Jeffrey LeLiever), Melissa Beach (Christopher Eaden) and Kayla (Brady) Klassen. He was a gentle and loving Papa to Harlow, Huxley, Aloysius, Sawyer, Theodore and Jackson. He was also eagerly anticipating the arrival of another granddaughter.
He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Barry (Brenda) Beach, Jan (Ross) Mathewson, and Paul Beach (Lauren), his sisters-in-law Karen (Robert) Moss, Irma Aulich, and Moni (Willi) Gockeln as well as, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents Floyd “Bud” and Shirley Beach, his mother & father-in-law, Gerhard (Gerda) Klettke and sister-in-law Brigitte (Jurgen) Walther.
Visitation will take place on Friday April 4th 2025 from 6-8 PM at Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John St, Atwood. The Celebration of Life service will take place Saturday April 5th 2025 at 2 PM at Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood. Guests are invited to incorporate Jim’s favourite color orange into their attire.
