Jim Anticknap

August 12, 1950 -March 25, 2023

Jim Anticknap of Atwood, passed away suddenly at Listowel Memorial Hospital on March 25, 2023 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Donna Anticknap. Loving father of Shawn (Caetie) Anticknap and Jennifer (Matthew) George. Cherished Papa to Olive, Taylen and Brooklyn. Survived by his siblings Ron Anticknap (Bev) and Marie McGuire, and his sister in law Karen Anticknap, and his brother and sister in law, Bruce and Pauline Wilken. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Dorothy Anticknap, his brother Bill and brother in law John McGuire. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and a close network of lifelong friends and colleagues.

Jim worked many years in the lumber business including Cashway (Rona) and Watson Home Hardware. He was most proud of his children and grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John St Atwood on Thursday March 30th 2023 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Memorial service will be held at Atwood Presbyterian Church on Friday March 31, 2023 at 11 AM. Pastor Ernie Naylor will be conducting services.
