Jean (Hanna) Gill

June 30, 1937 to November 16, 2019

Jean (Hanna) Gill – formerly of Ethel and Atwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at McGarrell Place, London on Saturday November 16, 2019 at the age of 82. Jean enjoyed gardening, bowling, hunting and fishing. Loving mother of Gloria (Brock) Hutchinson, Lynn Armstrong, Robert “Charlie” Hanna, and Gary Hanna. Special grandma of Colin (Stacey), Genevieve (Kyle), Shawn, Blake, Cheryl (Patrick), Scott (Kaitlyn), Shane (Ashley), Melissa, Jazlyn and great-grandma of 13. Sister of Isabel Dietrich (Gary Larson). Fondly remembered by Barb Clarke and several nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn is her long-time friend Marilyn “Marnie” Guy-Smith. Predeceased by her parents Ted and Mildred (Hoy) Gill, husband Bob Hanna, sons-in-law Murray Armstrong, David Sebastian, and brother George (Eileen) Gill. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Tuesday November 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 20, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Brian Hymers officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel. A celebration of Jean's life will be held at a later date.
