Edythe Rock

February 20, 1938 to April 1, 2022

Edythe Rock of RR3 Monkton, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday April 1, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born February 20, 1938 to the late Hugh and Clara (Stoneman) Rinn. She married Elvey Rock in 1960 and had two daughters, Joanne Foster (Dave) and Jennifer Rock. Edythe enjoyed her years farming in Elma Township and leading the 4H Beef Club. Photography was one of Edythe’s talents, specializing in weddings and family photos. Edythe and Elvey enjoyed many motorhome adventures with the Ausable Nomads Club of Exeter, where she served as the Club President. Cherished grandma of Laurie Faulhafer (Kyle), Tim Misener, Michelle Olad (Mehdi), John Foster, and great-grandma of Cohen, Violet and Mileena. Fondly remembered by her brother John Rinn (Theresa), sisters-in-law Bernice Hutchison (Don), Lila Ruth Bullock (Bob Fries), Janet Rock and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Marjorie and husband Keith Rock and brother-in-law Bruce Rock. Cremation will occur and a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. Interment in North Logan Cemetery, Monkton.
