Edna passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday November 26, 2009. She resided in Monkton and was born 84 years ago in Elma Township, a daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Schmidt) Pehlke. Edna was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Monkton. She enjoyed sewing, volunteering at the church and quilting with the church ladies. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Crawford who predeceased her in 1987. Loving mother of Murray Crawford of Monkton. Special grandma of Josh and friend Samantha Hymers of Listowel, Nathan and friend Nicole Van De Gevel of Harriston and great grandma of Tabitha and Katrina. Fondly remembered by her siblings Luella Holman of Stratford, Norman and Leola Pehlke of Watford, Jack Pehlke of Kitchener, Ken and Rosemary Pehlke of Monkton, brother-in-law Harry Stroh of Wellesley and sisters-in-law Betty Pehlke of Mitchell, Beth Pehlke of Monkton and by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her daughters Beverley Ann and Nancy (1975), her sisters Eileen Stroh, Emaline and her husband Harold Krueger, Helen and her husband Jack Strong, brothers Carl Pehlke, Elmer Pehlke, Lloyd Pehlke, and sister-in-law Eleanor Pehlke. Edna's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday November 30 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
