Calvin Subject

October 28, 1966 to March 4, 2015

Calvin Subject of Monkton, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack, on Wednesday March 4, 2015 at the age of 48. Calvin was a truck driver for Atwood Resources. He was an executive member and coach with the Palmerston Jr. Broomball Association where he spent many hours watching his children play. Calvin enjoyed games of chance and spending time in his favorite lazy boy chair watching Ice Road Truckers and Gold Rush Alaska. He will be remembered as a collector of treasures. Loving father of Daniel and Kelsey, both at home. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Joanne Broughton, Kim and Steve Smith, Steven and Christina Subject, Chantell and Mark Carreiro. Son-in-law of Myrna and Fred Lacroix. Survived by his special friend Shelly Lockie and her children Amber and Jordan. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and the extended Subject, Stevens, Hiusser, Clarke and Lockie families and close friends John and Christine Lenselink and girls. Predeceased by his wife Sandee (Robinson) Subject, his father George Subject, his mother Helen Subject and her partner Gerald (Blinky) Hiusser and brother-in-law Bob Broughton. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Saturday March 7th from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Calvin's life will be held at the Elma Memorial Community Centre, Atwood on Sunday March 8, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Marvin Bublitz officiating. Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
