Bradley Bender

June 16, 1959 to June 3, 2019

Bradley Bender – of Route 2 Listowel, passed away unexpectedly at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Monday June 3, 2019 two weeks short of his 60th birthday. Brad volunteered with VON for 6 years and was extremely proud of receiving the Ontario Volunteer Service Award in 2018. He will be remembered as a very positive person who never complained about his disability. Beloved son of Howard Bender (Marybelle Dittmer) and the late Dorine (Hewitt) Bender. Cherished brother of Barbara (Ric) Coghlin, Barry (Mary Jane) Bender, and Bonnie (Dean) Williams. Special uncle of Chad (Dorothy) Coghlin, Kyle (Lyndsay) Coghlin, Justin (Cassie) Coghlin, Katelyn (Kevin) Squibb, Michaela Bender (Grant Roberts), Colin Williams and 10 great-nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Sunday June 9 from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Brad’s life will be held at Trinity United Church, Listowel on Sunday June 9, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Hymers officiating.
