Bill Saunders

August 4, 1950 to December 4, 2018

William (Bill) Saunders – of Atwood, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at the age of 68. Bill loved to read and play Lost Heir. He enjoyed camping, the family fishing trips and cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Beloved husband of Bonnie (Chapman) Saunders whom he married in 1971. Loving father of Greg (Dawn) and Sherry Dallner (Scott). Special grandpa “pip” of Landis, Keegan, Madalyn and Joel. Dear son of Margaret Saunders. Brother of Nancy Smith (Gerald) and Ian Saunders (Barb Clarke). Son-in-law of Harold and Marilyn Chapman and brother-in-law of Linda Harrow (Dave), Barb Needham (Bob), Laurie Nuhn (Dennis). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by his father Duncan (Bally) Saunders and his brother Duncan.

Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Friday December 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the Elma Memorial Community Centre, Atwood on Saturday December 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Hymers officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
