Betty Dinsmore

February 27, 1942 to August 19, 2015

Betty Dinsmore of RR2 Listowel, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday August 19, 2015 at the age of 73. Betty was a member of the former Trowbridge United Church. She enjoyed spending time quilting, knitting, baking, canning and doing needlepoint. Betty attended the McDonald's Coffee Club and the Ladies summer card club. Beloved wife of Jack Dinsmore whom she married in 1959. Loving mother of Mike and Shelley, Brian and Terry, Paul and Bonnie. Special grandma of Jeramey and Candace, Allison, Tyler, Mark, Jeff, and Lindsay. Dear sister of Eileen Ament, Bob and Isabel Hamilton, sister-in-law of Pat Hamilton, Dave and Jean Dinsmore, Jean Ashley and Doris and Ron Ashley. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Muriel (Ward) Hamilton, brothers Don and his wife Shirley Hamilton, Stuart Hamilton and brother-in-law Clayton Ament. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Friday August 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. *PLEASE NOTE CHANGE* The funeral service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at the Elma Memorial Community Centre, Atwood on Saturday August 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Colin Snyder officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
