Beatrice Gilkinson

July 28, 1939 to September 24, 2014

Beatrice Gilkinson of Listowel, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday September 24, 2014 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Stewart Gilkinson whom she married in 1958. Loving mother of Allen Gilkinson, Margaret and Dave Quinlan. Special nan of Erin and Jason Cressman and daughter Kelsey; Lacey Ruppel and friend Chad; Jenna Ruppel and Jamie Scott; Mike and Rebekah Quinlan and children Esther Grace, Caden, and Asher; Robyn and Chris Raben and children Tyler, Wyatt and Briar; David Quinlan Jr.; and Danielle Quinlan. Dear sister of Wilma and Bill Cherrey, Tex and Rosemary Donohue, Pat Donohue, Dianne Mitchell and sister-in-law of Nora Donohue. Fondly remembered by Joe Ruppel and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Barney and Eva (Thompson) Donohue, son Steven, sister Elva and brothers John and Carmen. Visitation will be held at the Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood on Friday September 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Listowel Salvation Army on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
