Aldeen Machan

June 29, 1918 to March 11, 2018

formerly of Route 3 Monkton, passed away peacefully at Mitchell Nursing Home on Sunday March 11, 2018 in her 100th year. Aldeen enjoyed dancing, playing cards, cooking and travelling with friends. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd (Pud) Machan who predeceased her in 1979. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Bonnie Golightly and friend Phil Hudson of Monkton, Fay Machan and Bob Mayberry of Listowel, Gord and Joanne, Robert (Whitey), Russ, Gerald (Sam) all of RR#3 Monkton and Roy of Brussels. Special grandma of Doug, Dennis, Charlene, Sandra, Tammy, Stephen, Kathy, Sheryl, Kevin, Trevor, Ronnie, Julie, Josh, Jared, Jessica, great grandma of 17 and great great-grandma of 3. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sons Larry and wife Wanda (2015), Harvey (Hub)(1992) and son-in-law Wayne Golightly (2011). She was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents John A. and Emelia (Vock) Wolfe, sisters Lavina Dill (Frank), Irene Steiss (Melvin) and brother Harvey Wolfe. A private family service will take place. Spring interment in North Logan Cemetery, Monkton. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday June 24th at Machan's Pit.
