Agnes Harrow

April 21, 1918 to December 6, 2010

Agnes Harrow passed away peacefully with family by her side at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday December 6, 2010 at the age of 92. She was formerly of Atwood and resided at Maitland Terrace, Listowel. Agnes was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Atwood Evening Auxiliary and the Lily Dempsey Women's Institute. She spent many hours sewing, knitting and playing cards and had a true love of music, both playing and singing. Beloved wife of the late Earl Harrow who predeceased her in 1976. Loving mother of Audrey and Bartley Bowman of RR3 Listowel and Pauline and Lee Bentley of Listowel. Special grandma of Lu-Ann and Peter Clarke and their children Caleb and Hannah, Scott and Kristen Bowman and their children Keaton and Izzie, Heather Bentley, Susan and Dennis Hall and their children Tyler and Brendan and Laurie Bentley. Dear sister of Annie McCourt of Atwood. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Mary Agnes Harrow of Listowel, Margaret (Harrow) and her husband Earl Pridham of Harriston and by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth (McMane) Haddow, brother-in-law Clarence McCourt and nephew Murray McCourt. Agnes' family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Thursday December 9, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday December 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Hogerwaard officiating. Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
