Adrian Konings

April 11, 1937 - May 17, 2021

Adrian (Curly) Konings – passed away peacefully at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Monday May 17, 2021 at the age of 84. Adrian farmed for many years and then worked in the construction trade for A.M.Shantz. In his retirement, he drove truck for BTE Assembly Transport. Curly will be remembered for his great sense of humour, his loving and compassionate nature and willingness to go the extra mile. He always left a heartwarming life lasting impression on those that he encountered. Curly truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His love and devotion for his wife and daughter was endless. His pride and joy are his grandchildren, Derek and Hailie. He was there to support and cheer them on at sporting events. He carried on his wisdom and knowledge with them and was always a great listener. Curly's family has always been his greatest legacy.

Beloved husband and best friend of Elma (McNeilly) Konings whom he married in June 1959. Loving father of Jo-Ann and her husband Dean Fischer. Opa will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Derek Fischer and Hailie Fischer and her friend Wilber Morales. Dear brother of Bert and Leona Konings, brother-in-law of Dorothy Konings, Marj Cain, Alice Atyeo and husband Dale, and Doris McNeilly. Missed by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Johannes and Dina Konings, brothers Jim, Dick and John, parents-in-law Dave and Ada McNeilly, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Ferne and Elwood Wilson, Irene and George Wilson and Bill McNeilly.

Private family arrangements entrusted to Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
