Brenneman Funeral Home is Family Owned and Operated
Proudly Serving The Community of North Perth Since 1934
The Peebles family operating under the name of J.A. Peebles & Sons Funeral Home began the business on Atwood's Main Street in 1934.
Johnston Peebles served the community by providing funeral services as well as operating a furniture store.
In 1950 the Peebles family moved to its present location at 141 John Street. After Johnston Peebles retired, the business continued under the direction of his sons Jack and Bill, In 1977 Jack and his wife Margaret Peebles took over day to day operations, until 2003, when Jack and Margaret retired and sold the Funeral Home.
In 2004 Jim & Judy Brenneman took control as the owners/operators of Peebles Funeral Home Ltd.
In 2006, Jim and Judy renovated the Funeral Home adding an accessible entrance creating an open and inviting space. The property for the parking lot was purchased as well.
It was at this time that Jim and Judy changed the name from J.A Peebles & Sons Funeral Home to Brenneman Funeral Home.
On June 30, 2022 David & Abbey Bald purchased Brenneman Funeral Home Ltd.
The Bald Family is proud to serve Atwood, and surrounding communities. We understand the importance of high standards of service, especially in tough moments like these.
